Membership

If you hold an associate or equivalent, bachelor's, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university, you can join AAUW. In joining AAUW Nevada County Branch you join three levels of membership; national, state, and the branch. AAUW seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the bases of gender, race, creed, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or class.

Belonging to the Nevada County Branch offers members an opportunity to learn about and participate in the goals of equity that are pursued by national and the state. The Branch also has its own projects such as Local Scholarships, Tech Trek Science Camp, and some local service projects. In addition monthly programs are held, some social, some with speakers, and some for fund raising. We also offer smaller interest groups that meet regularly, where we get to know each other well. There are opportunities for many kinds of participation.
